About
I’m a writer and editor specializing in interiors, design, and architecture. Until Spring 2025, I was Associate Director at AD PRO, Architectural Digest’s digital vertical for the trade. While I was there, we launched the AD PRO Directory—AD’s resource for connecting readers with designers they can hire—and established a robust quarterly trend report, in addition to producing daily reporting, videos, and regular events.
Over the years, I have also worked at Metropolis magazine, where I was Managing Editor; on staff at Rockwell Group; and at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. I’m currently working with The Slowdown on a design monograph for Monacelli (publishing Fall 2026), and launching a new design publication in Fall 2025. More on that soon.
I’m based in New York City and the Hudson Valley, where I am one half of Freakout Spot—a teeny-weeny record store in Accord, New York. Additional info on that here and here.
I received my Master’s in Design Research, Writing, and Criticism from the School of Visual Arts in 2016, and was the recipient of the Monotype Scholarship for Excellence in Design Criticism and the Paula Rhodes Memorial Award while I was there. Prior to that, I studied art history at Davidson College.
